Sarah LeVine a month ago- My 15 year old Maytag died last night. I called Belmont Appliance Service around 7 am. The technician came at 4 pm, diagnosed the problem (engine gone); replaced it with new engine, cleaned out the exhaust and was done in an hour. Meanwhile my husband was checking the best price for a new dryer, same brand, same size: almost twice the cost of replacing the engine.

D Keith Brezinsky 8 months ago- On a Friday, we had damaged the gas lines inside the stove so that the front burners were no longer connected (it's a long story). Unfortunately, we also had 2 major family events converging on the house in the next 48 hours, so could not wait on it or replace the stove. Paul was able to come on short notice and repaired it quickly and efficiently. There was initially some question about whether he would be able to find the right parts in his truck; fortunately for us, he had enough of the right bits on hand. I have no idea if the rate was fair or not - we almost never have to have this sort of service; it did not feel like a bargain price, but did not seem unreasonable either, and he gave us a firm price before doing the work. I would definitely use him again in this kind of situation.

Kristen W 6 months ago- In the middle of a load of laundry my washer made a horrendous noise and stopped. Every time I restarted it, I heard the noise and it stopped again. I called Belmont Appliance and he came out that same day - actually evening - so that I did not have to take a day off work. He had all the parts in his truck and was able to fix it right away. Not only was he timely, he was extremely courteous. He was very concerned about the snow he tracked into the house and wiped it up for me. This is the second time we have used him and I will continue to use him! You should too.

Larry Simeone 5 months ago- Timely and competent. I called late morning on Monday with a leaking washing machine and an inoperative oven. By mid-afternoon on Monday both appliances were repaired and working fine. Recommended.

Del Rosario Brian a year ago- We had Paul come over to take a look at our stacked washer/dryer that was completely non-functioning. To be brief, he was exceptionally persistent at figuring out what was wrong with it. He came by 3 times within a week to try to get this thing working, even staying one night until about 10pm. Simply put, he got the job done, which is the most important thing when you call in a pro. We definitely recommend Belmont Appliance.

Benyamin Lichtenstein a year ago- We called Paul this morning and he arrived within a few hours amidst a busy day. As always he was professional and pleasant. Whereas others thought we'd have to purchase a new dishwasher, Paul found the source of the leak and fixed it, charging us less than $150 for the entire job - a great deal, and a solid guarantee. He is definitely 'our man' when it comes to kitchen appliances. {:=>)

Laura McNamara a year ago- Paul has repaired appliances for us over the last few years. He always comes out within a day or two (often the same day) and although he may arrive later than the range of hours quoted, he always comes, even if it's well after usual work hours. Paul knows his stuff and always explains what the issue/problem is. I highly recommend him.

Holly Pacis 2 years ago- I spoke with Paul at 8 am and he was able to come out the same day and fix my gas dryer. He had the parts with him and got right to work. He was very patient with all my questions. Reasonable price, courteous and no nonsense. Good to support local small business owners when you have the choice.

Robert Aufiero 2 years ago- Our dryer needed a new part, so we called Belmont Appliance and Paul was able to come out and do the repair on the same day. We were already home from work after 5pm when Paul showed and worked on the dryer unit until 7:30pm. The dryer is back to proper function and due to Paul's proficiency and professionalism, I decided to post a review recommending him for any appliance issue you have around the house. I know I will use him in the future (I just hope nothing breaks for a while). But, all around great guy and great customer service!!!!!

Will Hayden a year ago- Our gas dryer died so I called Paul in the morning and he was able to come out same day, he even called to inform us he was running a little behind but would arrive shortly. As soon as he arrived Paul went right to work. It only took him a few minutes to figure out that our motor was shot. After giving me a quote, Paul informed me that he had the part in his van and got right to work replacing the motor, 45 minutes later, dryer worked perfectly. Overall, great same day service and professionalism. If I ever need an appliance repairman, I won't hesitate to call Belmont Appliance.

Jane Vandermolen a year ago- Paul (the owner) knows his stuff. He came to look at our washing machine (10/12 years old) that stopped working. He immediately diagnosed the problem, had a part in his van, and we were good to go within the hour. Excellent customer service. Recommend highly.

Susan Ryan-Vollmar a year ago- Paul of Belmont Appliance has fixed my dishwasher, my stove, and my sink disposal. I haven't had to buy new appliances -- he keeps the old ones running. Very responsive and easy to reach. I high recommend Belmont Appliance.

Blaise Frederick a year ago- Paul came to fix our dryer today - quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and was very thorough after wards cleaning up, checking the vent pipe, and giving some helpful tips on ways to get better results out of not just the dryer but the washer also. I'll definitely call him the next time I need something fixed! Edit: not sure why the quality is showing as "3" - I selected "Excellent"

ED Kempner a year ago- Paul has now fixed our washing machine, dishwasher and refrigerator, all during the last 5 years or so. Each time I needed his help, he accommodated my schedule, arrived right on time, successfully made the repair, was professional and friendly to work with -- I totally recommend him!

A Google User 2 years ago- I just had another great visit from Belmont Appliance Repair. Paul was on time and got right to the problem with our 20 year old dishwasher. He had the part on the truck that fixed it perfectly. I am in a service business and nothing pleases my customers more than being knowledgeable and prepared.

A Google User 2 years ago- Our fridge and freezer completely died overnight. We called when we realized it in the morning, and Paul was there that day, exactly when he said he would be. He worked so quietly our son didn't even wake up from his nap, and the fridge has been working great ever since!

A Google User 4 years ago- They came out the next day to fix the fridge, ($288 for a thermostat!) Then we noticed that the ice maker was broken. (the unit is only 4 years old) BTW-The ice maker had to be removed to fix the thermostat. I was then told that I needed a new ice maker for another $128.00!!! Co-incidence? You make the call. I am buying ice cube trays.
